1. Reduce engine speed: If your workload is not very urgent and you are working with others, it is recommended that you lower the speed as much as possible. Because this can indeed reduce fuel consumption and allow you to work for a few more days. Anyway, the work is calculated according to the shift, so why not do it? Of course, if it is your own job, it will be calculated on a living basis. Well, it’s better to end it as soon as possible.
2. Reduce the circling angle: In fact, rotation consumes a lot of fuel because the excavator cab is not light and rotates more than once when loading. Therefore, when loading, you must put the truck at the position with the smallest rotation distance. In this way, you will find that you can obviously save a lot of fuel in a day.
3. Reduce engine speed when walking: This is very easy to understand. The faster the engine speeds, the more fuel is consumed while walking. In fact, generally try to let the excavator walk.
4. Implement high-level excavation: Why is it said that digging at high locations can save fuel? In fact, this is easy to understand. If you are asked to pass something up, or if you are asked to pass something on a stool, which one saves effort? The same is true for excavators. The more labor-saving it is, the lower its fuel consumption will be.
5. Try to dig at 90 degrees: The 90-degree excavator means that the bucket can be used to the maximum extent. Just like digging with your hands, only digging in the right direction saves the most effort.
6. Dig both sides of the trench first: I believe many digging friends have not paid attention to this detail at all, and everyone also likes to dig the middle first. As everyone knows, when digging trenches, if you dig in the middle first, the things that fall from the bucket always go to both sides, and you have to dig a few more times to clean them up.
7. Control the excavation depth: When you are digging, if you encounter a very deep trench, you can dig it in three layers: upper, middle and lower.
